The app has an emphasis on inclusivity, with audio-described content for visually impaired visitors. Bluetooth Beacons placed throughout the museum trigger content in the app.

Comedy Carpet Quest - New For 2025
The Comedy Carpet Quest is a new section of the app added in 2025. The Comedy Carpet is a huge art installation in Blackpool that features quotes from famous comedians with connections to Blackpool.
App users set off on a quest to locate a selection of quotes on the Comedy Carpet. The app uses image recognition to detect when the user is pointing their camera at the correct quote and responds by unlocking a hidden video about the comedian.
