This app is a walking trail around Sheffield exploring the life of Stan Shaw, the world-famous cutler, as well as locations relevant to Sheffield’s rich knife-making heritage.
The trail is split into two sections: a central section that starts at the Cutlers’ Hall, and a northern section that finishes at Kelham Island Museum. The sections can be walked separately, or joined together to make a route of around 3.5 miles.
The app features audio from Stan’s wife Rosemary, other Sheffield knife makers, as well as Stan himself.
GPS is used to trigger content along the trail.
