Black Swan Pub – Snig Hill

The Snig Hill area was another part of the city centre that suffered heavy bombing.

Many old buildings were destroyed. The city’s famous Black Swan pub was one of them.

But it was rebuilt and became part of music legend 36 years later – The Clash made their live debut supporting the Sex Pistols and the Arctic Monkeys both worked here and actually played here.
